The development of policies and promotion of “Responsible Gambling” relies on the participation of various interested parties，including the government，gamblers and their families，gaming operators，gambling disorder prevention and treatment organizations，education and community organizations to play the appropriate roles and take the corresponding responsibilities. With the roles and functions of these parties in “Responsible Gambling” as the starting point，this paper reviews the work carried out by each of the parties over the past ten years. This paper also provides recommendations for the development of innovative policies and promotional work for “Responsible Gambling” in the future，to study the possibility of establishing maximum limits for gambling expenses so as to assist gamblers in limiting their gambling expenses to an affordable level，to launch a more detailed “Responsible Gambling” measures so as to raise the effectiveness of “Responsible Gambling”，to promote “Responsible Gambling” to higher education institutions in Macao so as to enhance university students’ immunity against gambling，to conduct surveys on gambling tourists so as to give tailor-made “Responsible Gambling” publicity and relevant services to them，to regularly meet and discuss among cities in the Greater Bay Area “Responsible Gambling” promotional strategy，and the establishment of the network to prevent and treat gambling disorders so as to cope with the unhealthy development of the Macao gambling industry and great cost of the local area.
