Ru porcelain，listed the first of “Five most Famous Porcelains” of China，was originally produced in Ruzhou city. Ru porcelain comes from Ru Pottery in the Neolithic time and the making of Ru porcelain started from the Tang Dynasty，and prevailed in the Northern Song Dynasty. Ru porcelain is not only the national intangible cultural heritage，but also one of the most 10 influential geographical indication products of Henan province. In recent years，Ruzhou has made great efforts to Ru porcelain industry，focusing on regulation，carrier creation，program construction and policy support，and all of which had helped them gain remarkable achievements. Now，Ruzhou has 7 inheritors of provincial level or above of intangible heritage，53 provincial or above masters making Ru porcelain and 260 units of Ru porcelain research or production，with annual output value of more than 500 million yuan. Of course，in its development，there still exist some problems which are the capital investment needs to be increased，the relevant policies need to be improved and the external publicity needs to be strengthened. In the future，we will further improve the planning to strengthen scientific research and innovation，deepen the opening and investment and accelerate the construction of Ru porcelain town. We will try our best to strong the cultural industry of Ru porcelain so as to make Ruzhou into a culture city of Ru porcelain.
