In 2018，as the construction of Zhongyuan cultural highland was vigorously promoted，the fiction creation of Henan continuously and steadily brought forth creation in fictions. Although the number of long novels was not as much as expected，the number of good ones were increased in percentage，medium-length novels remained of the same standard which got much attention. While generally speaking，the number of the novels of Henan overall declined in creation，young fiction writers were not sufficient，and the writing practice in life was not deep enough. So，effective measures should be taken in such aspects as grasping the spirit of the times，going into the life and strengthening the talent reserves，etc.，thus，can we promote the prosperity and development of novels of Henan in the new era.
