From 2000 to 2017,the per capita value of all types of people’s livelihood data in Shanghai’s urban and rural steadily continued to increase. The residents’ income in 2017 was 5.32 times that of 2000,the total consumption was 4.74 times and the amassment was 7.09 times. The proportion of the residents’ immaterial consumption slightly fell over 1.06 percentage points,showing a partial “inverted upgrading” change of the consumption structure. The residents’ income rate significantly rose from 36.99% to 46.08% and the residents’ consumption rate evidently rose from 27.95% to 31.07%,it rose slightly since the Twelfth Five-Year Plan. The residents’ amassment rate slightly continued to rise from 24.43% to 32.57%,which in return aggravate the inhibition of consumption demand. the inhibition of consumption demand. The regional disparity of the residents’ income,total consumption and amassment roundly continued to be reduced;and the urban and rural ratio of the residents’ income,total consumption and amassment roundly continued to be extended. The ranking of the people’s livelihood development index:in the provincial lateral evaluation of ideal value without urban-rural and regional gap,Shanghai ranked the 1st;in the provincial vertical evaluation of self-base value in 2000,2005,2010 and 2016,Shanghai ranked the 30th,26th,27th and 29th respectively.
