The data verification and analysis results for China’s national sustainable development system indicate the following aspects：first，China has made steady progress in sustainable development. The overall index for the years 2010 to 2017 first decreased and then maintained steady growth year by year. It reached the bottom in 2011 and witnessed sustained growth in the following years，which was due to the emphasis on resources and environment，consumption and emission，governance and protection，etc. and continuous growth of sustainable development index after 2011. Second，China is improving in economic development. During the years from 2014 to 2017，China maintained a growth rate of above 18% in economic development index. It means that China’s economic development has tended to bounce during these years；further reflects the fact that China has gained a new momentum of economic growth through years of economic restructuring and shows that China is becoming better in economic structure and growth after entering the new normal. Third，China has made significant progress in improving people’s wellbeing. Fourth，there remains a big disadvantage in terms of resource and environment carrying capacity. Fifth，consumption and emission arising from China’s social and economic activities remain to produce a big impact on environment. Sixth，China is making gradual improvement in the governance effect in the field of governance and protection.
