本报告利用“中国儿童校外生活调查”数据,对幼儿园、小学低年级、小学高年级和初中儿童的假期校外生活状况进行了分析。研究发现,儿童假期生活照料以父母和(外)祖父母照料为主,校外生活包括课外班、走亲访友、外出旅游的参与率较高,且假期睡眠状况良好。城市和家庭背景良好的儿童假期校外生活的参与率更高。相比于兴趣班,儿童在课外班类型上更偏好补习班。不同父母外出务工状况和不同学段儿童的假期校外生活状况存在差异。整体上,相比于未参与各项校外生活的儿童,参与各项校外生活的儿童在身体素质、心理发展(好奇心、想象力、自我效能感、抗逆力)和社会交往技能方面的发展更好。但参与课外班的儿童视力状况更差。
<<Based on data of the “Survey of Out-of-School Life of Children in China”,this report analyzes the out-of-school life of children in kindergartens,primary schools and junior middle schools. The results show that in their out-of-school life on holidays,children are looked after mainly by their parents and grandparents. They participate more in out-of-school lives such as taking extra-curriculum classes(including interest classes,tutoring classes and other classes),visiting relatives/friends and traveling,and the majority of them report that they can get enough sleep on holidays. Children from urban areas and advantaged families participate more in out-of-school activities on holidays. Compared with interest classes,children have a preference to tutoring classes. Children have different out-of-school life choices owing to their grades or whether their parents are migrant workers. Generally,children who have participated in out-of-school life on holidays perform better in terms of physical fitness,psychological development(curiosity,imagination,self-efficacy,and resilience)and social skills. However,the visual acuity of children who participated in taking extra-curricular classes is usually deteriorated.
