This report empirically analyzes the identity and influencing factors of elite socialist core values. The analysis shows that，in general，the elite group has the highest level of value recognition for the individual category in the core socialist value system. Their recognition of patriotism，professionalism，honesty，and friendship are strong. But they don’t pay enough attention on democracy，the rule of law，the choice of the path of civilization development and the construction of a harmonious social order. Some elites have deviations in the understanding of the national and social views advocated by core socialist values；the injustice in social development largely affects the recognition and identification of core socialist values. This report believes that，from a theoretical perspective，it is necessary to strengthen the theoretical interpretation of the core values and the unified interpretation of the connotation so that a clear definition of the core values of each category is established；from a policy perspective，we must further improve the macro-public opinion environment and establish a benchmark image of elites practicing core values，which makes the cultivation and practice of core values more positive. To research and construct the elite value culture with Chinese characteristics that meet the requirements of national development not only is a practical need of improving the social assessment of elite groups，but also has a very important strategic significance for the construction of Chinese value culture with Chinese characteristics.
