The 19th National Congress of Chinese Communist Party places emphasis on forging a social governance pattern characterized by joint construction and governance by and for the whole society，and proposes to “strengthen the construction of community governance system and relegate the focus of social governance downward to the grass-roots level”. Given the new features and problems constantly arising from the mindset of the community workers，it becomes a crucial topic of our time to describe and construe the evolution of that mindset. This study analyzes the concrete description of the community worker and their deeds，on the basis of which the current mindset and relevant trends of Beijing community workers are further discussed. In consequence，this study brings forth relevant advices for progress in mental construction of Beijing community workers. Firstly，the responsibility of all parties concerned should be clarified，governmental support be strengthened，and policies and regulations be improved under guidance. Secondly，work initiatives should be consolidated to effectively reinforce identity of the community workers. Thirdly，the formation of a professional system of community workers should be enhanced.
