Taking Jiangsu Province as a sample,this study analyzed the preliminary results of collective bargaining in catering industry and the problems to be solved. As a major catering province and an earlier province to carry out collective bargaining on industry-level,Jiangsu Province has some problems,such as unbalanced regional development,imperfect development of both bargaining-parties,imperfect working procedures of collective bargaining and unsatisfactory quality and effect of collective bargaining. Therefore,we need to guide enterprises to establish a correct negotiation concept,and continue to work hard in standardizing the negotiation subject,grasping the negotiation chance,classifying and partitioning to solve the common system problems,so as to achieve the double breakthroughs of “enlarging the scope” and improving the quality and efficiency. The determination of the subject of collective bargaining in the industry should also be based on solving the problems that workers generally care about and urgently need to solve.
