With the rapid development of urban rail transit，construction of new subway lines has been under way. As the early-stage project construction has a great influence on the later stage line operation，the operation unit can fully involve in the project construction，which is of great significance to promote the improvement of project quality and realize high-quality operation. Based on the experience and practice of Zhengzhou Metro operation intervention in power supply system construction，this paper studies the management ideas of operation demand（operation intervention）from the aspects of organization，working mechanism and standard system，and puts forward the problems needing attention and solutions in the process of intervention，so as to provide reference for rail transit operation units to do a good job in operation intervention in new line construction.
