This report analyzes the development situation of public cultural services of Jiangsu from five aspects，i.e. the supply level of public cultural services resources，the level of achievement enjoyment，the level of efficiency，the level of external support and the level of equalization. After comparison with other provinces of eastern China and the whole national level，it analyzes the development competitiveness of public cultural services of Jiangsu. Finally，it put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions according to the characteristics and problems of the development of provincial public culture of Jiangsu.
