From the social attributes and the experience of enterprises，this report expounded that taking social responsibility was the foundation of the company’s foothold in society，and environmental protection was the unshirkable social responsibility for enterprises. It was imperative to establish an enterprise environmental management system，which was the only way for the enterprises to survive and develop. The establishment of the enterprise environmental management system should adhere to six “in place”，namely：recognition in place，point source in place，system in place，inspection in place，assessment in place，and measures in place. This report introduced the specific measures，methods and experience of Tongxing Company in adhering to the six “in place”.
