The market scale of the pharmaceutical industry had become the world’s second largest. The yield of APIs ranked first in the world. The number of Chinese companies developing new drugs ranked third in the world. The number of clinical trials initiated in China ranked fourth in the world. The number of the US ANDA approvals held by Chinese pharmaceutical companies was more than 430 （including acquisitions）. China’s pharmaceutical industry had got extraordinary achievements.
