短视频在2018年重新定义网络社交形态,打造出许多网红城市。短视频在城市形象的塑造和传播过程中起重要的推动作用,学者们纷纷对这一现象展开评论,但是缺少对城市短视频的系统分析,未能探明如何用短视频平台讲好城市故事。抖音是最受欢迎的短视频平台之一,本研究选择抖音平台TOP100热播城市短视频为分析对象,采用内容分析法对其从表现形式和故事内容两大方面进行编码分析。研究发现:城市短视频在表现形式上人与物互动共存,画面丰富;竖屏成为主流,特效、道具和剪辑应用较少;有声视频配乐为主,方言不流行。在故事内容上突出“城市之最”的城市特色类物体较多,以新奇引人入胜,但整体内容深度不足。在此基础上,本文提出了在短视频平台助力城市形象传播的策略和建议。
<<Short video redefined the pattern of social networking in 2018,building many online popular cities. Short video plays an important role in shaping and spreading the city image. Scholars have commented on this phenomenon. Because of the lack of systematic analysis of short videos of the city,they rarely find out how to use the short video platform to tell the urban story. Tik Tok is one of the most popular short video platforms,so TOP 100 hot urban short videos from Tik Tok are selected to encode and analyze from two aspects of expression and content with content analysis method. It is found that urban short videos contain rich pictures of people and objects in the aspect of expression;vertical screen mode becomes the mainstream. Other traits of these videos like special effects,props and editing are little applied;audio video is the dominating video form and dialect is not popular. In terms of story content,there are many unique objects of the city featured with novelty,but the content is not deep enough in general. Finally,several strategies and suggestions will be proposed to improve the city image.
