In 2018，the economy of Jiangsu catering industry was generally stable and the growth rate slowed down. Based on the data of Jiangsu Provincial Bureau of Statistics and Department of Commerce of Jiangsu Province，this paper analyzes the operation of Jiangsu catering market and the characteristics of the development of the industry，points out the main problems existing in the development of Jiangsu catering industry，and puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions.
