Based on the characteristics of medicine and medical industry，and the “Internet plus” way of thinking，Shengguang pharmacy supply chain management extended service innovation model is relying on independent research and development of supply chain management system platform to achieve efficient management of pharmacies. The Shengguang model takes the national pharmaceutical industry policy guidance，and innovates the pharmaceutical distribution model，which embodies the concept of resource sharing，win-win cooperation and serves the social concept，and provides a new paradigm for promoting the separation of pharmaceutical business. The reasons for the success of “Shengguang Model” are as follows：careful planning to avoid monopoly，undertaking limited management to ensure drug safety；market-oriented operation to achieve the goal of medical reform of price reduction and fee reduction；and implementing market standard operation through supply chain collaborative innovation. Shengguang Supply Chain Management System has provider to provide technical support for the separation of pharmaceutical business. The Shengguang model needs to be further improved in practice. The relevant functional departments should fulfill their duties of supervision and support. It is suggested that pilot projects should be expanded to form a “Pingdingshan model” for the separate operation of medical and pharmaceuticals business.
