As one of the world’s leading achievements on global cities evaluation，The World According to GaWC measures the extent to which a city is integrated into a global urban system through quantitative research on the economic linkages between key cities around the world based on the global network connectivity analysis model. Looking through the results of The World According to GaWC from 2000 to 2018，distinctive common characteristics could be drown on the global cities development and the progress of China’s urban integration into the global urban system，giving references for the Chinese cities to learn from the best and upgrade the quality of urban internationalization.
