The key of rural vitalization lies in industry，and industrial vitalization is the base of rural vitalization. The practice of rural industrial vitalization of Gaoping District of Nanchong City provides an example for the local governments in Sichuan Province to pursuing rural vitalization. This essay analyzes the rural industrial development of Gaoping District，the shortcomings of rural industrial development，the main methods and achievements of rural industrial vitalization of Gaoping District. It also points out the deficiency and plan of rural vitalization of Gaoping District. At last，three suggestions for local governmental rural vitalization are given，which are aiming at financial support，human resource support and land support.
