Sichuan province is a big agricultural province，the improvement of the living environment in rural areas is not only related to farmers’ health，more related to the ecosystem protection and green agriculture development. The improvement of rural living environment is of great practical and far-reaching historical significance for speeding up Sichuan’s leap from a big agricultural province to a strong agricultural province. Based on the analysis of the main practices，effects and existing problems of the improvement of the living environment in rural areas in Sichuan province，this paper puts forward some policy Suggestions on strengthening the awareness of environmental protection，integrating resources，increasing investment，strengthening the support of science and technology，strengthening the innovation of system and mechanism and changing the mode of agricultural development.
