Investigation and resolution of social contradictions is an important part of safety construction.Based on the analysis of the domestic and foreign research on dispute resolution，using the questionnaire survey data of two projects in 2018，from the perspective of prominent social problems，social security satisfaction and life pressure，social justice，social security and potential contradiction in residential areas，this paper analysises the main areas of social contradictions in Beijing.Based on this，the paper puts forwards some countermeasures for preventing and resolving social contradictions from four aspects，source prevention，analysis and early warning，network organization and professional intervention.
