From October 11 to 12，2018，the 17th meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization （Ministers） was held in Dushanbe，capital of Tajikistan. Heads of government and representatives of the member states，representatives of observer states and dialogue partners，heads of organizations of SCO，and representatives of relevant organizations such as the United Nations，the Commonwealth of Independent States，and AsiaInfo attended the meeting. The meeting analyzed the current international and regional situations and challenges faced by the organization，focused on the implementation of specific measures for the Qingdao Summit，and strengthened major issues such as cooperation in the fields of security，economy，and humanities，and signed the “Party of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization”. A series of important documents，such as the Joint Communiqué of the Seventeenth Meeting of the Heads of Governments Council，pointed out the direction for the future development of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
