In 2018，the total situation of tourism public health security in China is still severe，mass tourists are not able to prevent tourism public health incidents. Compared with 2017，the number and the level of food poisoning incidents related to tourism in 2018 keep the same basically，but the epidemic situation of tourism infectious diseases was more frequent and the level was more serious. While the frequency and the number of other tourism public health incidents decreased slightly. The security situation of tourism public health still faces challenges. The tourism public health security situation in 2018 mainly includes：mass tourism continues to heat up，the safety awareness of public tourists to tourism public health is weak；the scale of tourism industry expands，tourism public health facilities are potential hidden danger；global tourism is increasingly popular，the security and the control of tourism public health are difficult；international tourism activities are frequent，and global tourism public health security collaboration is emergency；new forms of tourism continue to appear，and the insurance and the rights of tourism public health events are difficult to guarantee. The followings are the suggestions for tourism public health development in 2019：mass tourism is popular，and the safety awareness education of tourism public health needs to be improved；global tourism is promoted，and the safety management and supervision of tourism public health should continue to be effective；international tourism is normalized，and the deep cooperation of global tourism and public health needs to be further strengthened；tourism is normal according to law，but the insurance and the rights of tourism public health events need to be effectively guaranteed；innovative tourism is smart，risk prevention and emergency rescue of tourism public health are more advanced.
