In 2018，the national tourism traffic safety development trend is good，but there are still major traffic accidents inside and outside China，including road，sea and overseas safety accidents. They sound the alarm bell for the safety development of the tourism and transportation industry. Among them，travel road traffic safety risk accidents spread，overseas group tour and domestic self-service tour are accident prone characteristics. Major shipwreck incidents make maritime tourism safety issues surface. The accident of general aviation tourism becomes the key pain point of civil aviation safety. In 2018，the key factors affecting travel and traffic safety are the concentrated safety risks caused by the holidays，insufficient overseas safety supervision and unsustainable traffic management services. In 2019，the construction of traffic safety facilities should be accelerated through capital integration；smart new technologies should be used to facilitate high-quality tourism traffic safety；and comprehensive publicity should be carried out to promote overseas tourism safety supervision.
