The internet's influence on minors' daily living and their socialization development has been growing with continued strength. However， the management of online content and the regulation of the use of internet has been lagging behind. The regulation of the protection of minors online has thus become an important matter that has attracted world-wide attention. Many issues pose huge challenges： ensuring minors use the internet fairly， sufficiently， and sensibly； protecting minors from harmful online information； blocking inappropriate information； protecting their personal information online； preventing addiction， and so on. This report summarizes the basic current state of these issues and the problems that exist in the protective regulation effort. Based on these findings， a number of policy recommendations are suggested.
