In 2018，the upgrading and renovation project of backstreets and alleys in Beijing continued to advance steadily. With the capital core area as the leading factor which achieved many results and accumulated historical experience of urban governance in 2017，the project has extended to the sub-center and the whole city. As a way of urban governance，besides the established rules and objectives，it also has the value connotation of cultural governance. Diversity，artistry，functionality and identity will undoubtedly become the cultural expectation of urban construction and community governance in the future.
