This report summarizes the development course of the green development of the Pearl River Delta during the 40 years of reform and opening，and analyzes the achievements from the green development comprehensive assessment，green industrial structure，the relationship between economic development and environmental protection，resource conservation and environmental protection，and green development system. The report also gives three suggestions：releasing the structural dynamics of green development，enhancing the supply of high-quality ecological products，and constructing an institutional system for internalizing environmental costs.
