Old people who move with their children，they move from place to place with their children because they care for their children or grandchildren. In a strange city，how to adapt to the new life of the elderly，how to integrate into the city life，how to get along with children，how to deal with family conflicts，are important problems to be solved in the city life. The old people who move with them belong to the marginal group in a strange city and they are faced with many difficulties. Based on the questionnaire survey of the accompanying elderly in 8 communities in zhengzhou，this study divided the accompanying elderly into different types from the aspects of migration mode，migration intention，migration distance and reasons. This paper analyzes the social adaptation dilemma of the old people who move with the city from the aspects of life status，interpersonal relationship，mental health，community participation and identity. Finally，the paper puts forward the integration path of collaborative cooperation among government，community and family.
