In 1980，Xiamen after the establishment of special economic zones，successively proposed strategies such as “integration within and outside the island”，“cross-island development” and “multi-center in one island and one Belt”.The appearance of Xiamen City has undergone tremendous changes，and the Xiamen Bay has its geographical advantages and the size of the land，Propose that “beautiful Xiamen” development plan.Xiamen is also working towards the “national central city”.Under such a background，how to optimize its spatial layout and solve the problem of resource allocation has become an important task for Xiamen.Through the observation of several reconstruction modes，this paper analyzes the construction of villages and towns inside and outside Xiamen Island by “cross-island development” and discusses the impact of Xiamen urban development on village reconstruction.
