“Alleviating Academic Burden” became a high-frequency word in China's education in 2018. The 21st Century Education Research Institute launched an online survey regarding the topic of “Alleviating Academic Burden ” for primary and secondary school students，and parents' level of satisfactions towards the policy. The survey shows that the “Burden Reduction” Policy captured most parents' attention. Parents also changed their inclination of different types of out-off-school tutoring classes and parents choose off-campus. However，parents have a contradictory mentality towards the “Burden Reduction” policy. Not all parents recognize the effects of the “Burden Reduction” policy. And parents are most eagerly looking forward to the reform of examination and evaluation system.
