中国当代教育正在进入一个百家争鸣且系统迭代的特殊时期,虽然私立学校占比从数量上看还远低于发达国家相应的比例,但以民办双语学校为主力的国际化学校在过去的近20年里蓬勃发展,有效地补充、影响着体制内教育。同时,也因为政策、经济、人才、管理、家长等种种因素,面临着不小的挑战,存在鱼龙混杂、质量参差不齐的情况。在投资、运营国际化学校的过程中,如何正确理解国际教育的核心因素,回归教育的本质,有选择、有批判地借鉴其他国家办学和治校的经验,是推动中国教育多元化发展、改良中国教育生态成败的关键。
<<In today's China,education is entering a special stage where diverse voices are emerging and new systems are replacing the old. Although the proportion of private schools in China is far behind that of developed countries,international schools,mostly consisting of private bilingual schools,have been booming during the past 20 years,which effectively complement and impact the public education. At the same time,various factors such as policies,funding,staff,management,and parents have created many challenges for international schools,many of which are not necessarily of good quality. It is the key to promote diversity and improve China's education ecosystem that how parents and educators understand the core of international education,whether they can return to the essence of education,learn from other countries selectively and critically when they invest in and run international schools.
