In recent years，with the increasing investment and improving school conditions，more and more attention is paid to industry-academia collaboration. First of all，this paper combs the history and trend of the industry-academia collaboration in occupational education in China，and focuses on the unfavorable factors in the development trend of the industry-academia collaboration in the eastern region. Subsequently，this paper points out the bottleneck of the industry-academia collaboration in the eastern occupational education—the conflict between the centralization of system construction policy and the diversification of regional production and education，and analyzes its institution origin and concrete expression. Finally，focusing on the pain points of the current industry-academia collaboration，combined with the implementation plan of the national occupational education reform introduced in 2019，this paper considers the good governance of industry-academia collaboration in occupational education.
