本文以巴西生物质能产业为例,从经济、社会、环境和技术四个维度对生物质能产业的可持续发展问题进行研究。研究结果表明,巴西生物质能产业存在显著资源禀赋优势,并未危及巴西粮食安全,巴西生物质能产业在经济和社会维度上的可持续性不存在显著障碍;但生物质能生产及其原料处理过程中存在大量污染,且能源作物种植面积扩大引起土地利用性质变化会造成严重的环境污染,环境可持续性是未来最有可能限制巴西生物质能可持续发展的因素;生物质能技术分析表明,第二代和第三代生物质能相对于第一代生物质能,不会引发潜在的粮食安全问题,并且对环境的污染程度较小,巴西继续加大对第二代和第三代生物质能的研发投入力度,最终实现其商业化,因此,巴西生物质能产业将具有更好的可持续发展前景。本文最后结合中国国情,从资源禀赋、能源政策和技术成熟度的角度,给出了中国可持续发展生物质能的相关建议。
<<Taking biomass energy in Brazil as an example,this paper systematically studies the sustainable development of biomass energy from three dimensions:economy,society and environment.The results show that Brazil's biomass energy has significant resource endowment advantages and does not endanger Brazil's food security.However,there is a great deal of pollution in the production process of biomass energy and its raw materials,and the increase in carbon dioxide emissions caused by the land use changes will add to environmental pollution.A biomass technology analysis shows that the second- and third-generation biomass technologies do not pose potential food security problems and have less environmental pollution than the first-generation biomass technologies.If Brazil can increase its investment in R&D for second- and third-generation biomass technologies and finally commercialize them,the prospect for sustainable development of biomass energy in Brazil can be bright.Finally,based on an analysis of the differences in the development of biomass energy between China and Brazil,and in light of China's national conditions,the article explores the implications that can be derived from the sustainable development of biomass energy in Brazil.
