2017年，重庆城乡文教消费总量增长处于第3位，人均值增长处于第4位。重庆城乡文教消费需求景气评价排行结果：在省域横向测评中，2017年度景气指数排名第10位；在自身纵向测评中，1997～2017年景气指数提升第13位，2002～2017年景气指数提升第11位，2007～2017年景气指数提升第7位，2012～2017年景气指数提升第10位，2016～2017年景气指数提升第4位。
In 2017，Chongqing ranked the 3rd in the increase of the total culture and education consumption in urban and rural areas and the 4th in the growth of per capita value.The Rankings of the status evaluation are as follows：In the lateral evaluation among various provinces，Chongqing ranked the 10th in the 2017 annual status evaluation leaders；In vertical evaluation itself，Chongqing ranked the 13th in the 1997-2017 status evaluation runners-up，as well as 11th，7th，10th and 4th during the periods of 1997-2017，2002-2017，2007-2017 and 2012-2017 respectively.
