Since 2018，DPRK has initiated a peace aspiration to promote the development of the situation on the peninsula towards dialogue，and the situation on the peninsula has shown signs of apparent easing. Since the Third Plenary Session of the Seventh Central Committee of the DPRK Labor Party announced the new strategic line，Kim Jong-un and other DPRK party and government leaders have been very active in the international arena，visiting frequently，actively carrying out multilateral diplomacy，conducting economic inspections and economic cooperation at the same time，re-establishing the positive image of DPRK in the international arena，demonstrating the new posture of DPRK’s reform and opening up. However，it is worth noting which way DPRK will go and whether it will follow the “Vietnam Model” or “China Model”.
