The“Time Bank” is a service exchange carried out with time as the medium.Since its inception in the United States in the 1990s，it has become an important form in the field of philanthropy.Nansha District's “ Time Bank” project adopts a joint participation model of government subsidies，business concessions，volunteer service and social support to alleviate the pressure of elderly care with Time Bank.With the advantages of “ Internet + Community Service”，the Time Bank Project in Nansha District is gradually building a complete community service system，including five modules：community support for the elderly，community assistance for the disabled，convenience to community residents，education and culture，and public service.Among them，the elderly catering programme is an important part of the community support for the elderly.However，there are still some problems in catering service for the elderly，such as insufficient publicity and less investment of social resources，which have limited the further promotion and development of the project.The author suggests Nansha District to increase publicity on catering service for the elderly of Time Bank，link up social resources and cooperate with social work organizations in the communities.
