In 2017，Haizhu District earnestly implemented charity activities，focused on fostering community philanthropy，and promoted the deep integration of charity and social assistance，social welfare，social work and voluntary service.The number of social service agencies has steadily increased，forming a gradient of charity work.According to Guangzhou Regional Philanthropy Index Report （2018），Haizhu District ranked first in Guangzhou in 2017 considering the overall development and has accumulated unique experience in four aspects of cultivation and development of social organizations，brand activities and impact，transparency and supervision，charity communication and development.Haizhu District further advanced the evaluation to promote the standardization of social organizations，carried out charitable activities to continuously enhance the impact of philanthropy，created a transparent and disinterested environment to improve the regulatory system for charitable undertakings，and attached importance to exchanges and cooperation to promote the long-term development of charitable organizations.In the future，Haizhu District ought to strengthen its support for the cultivation of social organizations and the training of leaders，promote the evaluation of social organization grades，and carry out spot checks and supervision of charitable organizations.
