Community philanthropy is an important feature of the development of philanthropy in Guangzhou.It is a reflection of the sinking of charitable resources to the grassroots level.Under the system of community governance，community philanthropy has become an important governance tool.The construction of “City of philanthropy” in Guangzhou cannot be separated from the participation of residents from communities，and the construction of charity system needs to go deep into the communities，and the formation of charity system needs to go deeper into the community.This essay introduces the case of community self-organizing cultivation and voluntary service in Guangzhou，discusses the unique experience of the development of community charity in Guangzhou，and puts forward suggestions for the future development of community charity.The development model of community philanthropy in Guangzhou is mainly based on the Integrated Family Services Centre and the professional social work as the driving force.Integrated Family Services Centre is close to the community，takes the needs of the community residents as mission guidance，actively guides the community residents to participate in community affairs，and becomes the main force for community philanthropy.The future development of community philanthropy can be achieved by cultivating community charitable organizations，improving the professional quality of employees，developing community voluntary service and integrating community philanthropic resources.
