In order to understand the current status of private hospital healthcare quality system，the National Institute of Hospital Administration and the China Hospital Association Private Hospital Management Branch jointly carried out the evaluation and research of medical quality management in private hospitals in China.The results of data analysis and field research showed that the quality management system of private hospitals with large scale and long history is relatively improved，and there is little difference between the quality indicators of second level or above private and public hospitals.However，there is still a lap for private hospitals in the quality and safety of high-tech and high-risk medical procedures compared with public hospitals.
