In recent years，with development of market demand and promotion of policy，international telemedicine services have received widely attention by medical service institutions and patients in China. By analyzing main reasons and current situation of the rapid development of international telemedicine service in China，this paper summarizes main service modes and practice ways of international telemedicine service at present. It is found that international telemedicine service still faces some major problems such as unclear standards，imperfect system and difficult assessment. In view of the above problems，it is suggested that concepts and admission standards of international telemedicine service should be further clarified，improve relevant laws and regulatory mechanisms，establish corresponding evaluation systems and improve charging and compensation mechanisms to promote orderly development of international teleconsultation services in China.
