In 2018，violent and terrorist crimes had been on the decline and the overall crime situation in China can be described as stable，controllable and improving. An extensive campaign against organized crimes had been carried out，in which a large number of cases in key regions，key industries，and key fields have been dealt with and organizers，ringleaders and key members of criminal organizations have been severely punished in accordance with law；duty-related crimes had been found in many fields，but their growth had slowed down；crimes against food safety had become increasingly prominent，and marked results had been achieved in preventing and cracking down on crimes of telecommunication network-related fraud. In 2019，China will make continued efforts in deepening special campaigns against organized crimes and their “protective umbrellas”，strengthening the prevention of crimes against public security and vicious violent crimes，curbing crimes against the environment，protecting food and drug safety，cracking down on the crime of illegal fund-raising，and preventing the resurgence of crimes of telecommunication network-related fraud.
