In the five years since the Belt and Road Initiative was established，it has attracted great attention from foreign media（including Chinese media abroad），think tanks and books.This article analyzes the reports and comments of international mainstream media，media in the countries along the Belt and Road and overseas Chinese media，academic views of global think-tank experts and books focusing on the Belt and Road.It aims to present a comprehensive picture on overseas comments on the promotion of the Belt and Road Initiative，analyze the characteristics of the international public opinions or reactions and explore the world's responses or resonances.Thereby，the changing tendency of the responses and opinions over the last five years is summarized.It is expected to gain a more profound comprehension on the historical and international significance of the joint development of the Belt and Road and to provide insights into future promotion of the Belt and Road initiative with higher quality.
