Opening-up requires putting the entire world in mind，farsightedness，top-down design，and key breakthroughs，and demands being based on the maximum intersection of China’s interests and the interests of the world to maintain the strategic opportunity period for global development，support the multilateral free trade system，deepen supply-side reform，and satisfy people’s yearning for a better life. China International Import Expo is born in such a context and has become a great practice of “the new concept of open development” and “the new system of open economy”，a landmark project of high-level opening-up，and a milestone in China’s reform and opening-up history. After 40 years of reform and opening-up，it is necessary to summarize historical experiences in reform and opening-up，seize the new opportunity of opening-up in an all-round way，build a new system of open economy，and create a new pattern of high-quality development.
