贵州省大力弘扬文化志愿服务理念，积极组建文化志愿者队伍，“十二五”期间，结合创建国家公共文化服务体系示范区（项目）工作，在第一批和第二批示范区创建城市遵义市和贵阳市、第二批示范项目创建城市六盘水市和黔南州开展文化志愿服务工作，通过舆论引导、文化传播、组织推广等途径，积极探索文化志愿服务机制，依托各级公共文化机构，建立了省、市（州）级、县（市、区）级文化志愿服务队，围绕当地民族文化特色，充实了服务内容，打造了服务品牌，组织开展了一系列基层文化志愿服务活动，培育形成了一批扎根基层、服务基层的服务队伍，丰富了公共文化服务的供给量。
<<Guizhou Province vigorously promotes the notion of notion volunteer service and actively builds cultural volunteer teams.During the “12th Five-Year Plan” period，in conjunction with the establishment of the National Public Cultural Service System Demonstration Zone（project），through the guidance of public opinion，organization promotion，service brands and contents building，Guizhou actively explores the cultural volunteer service mechanism and establishes provincial，city（state），county（city，district）level's cultural volunteer service teams，organizes a series of grassroots cultural volunteer service activities，and fostereds a group of cultural volunteer service teams rooted in grassroots，which greatly enriched the spiritual and cultural life of the people.
