<<The cities along the Yangtze River economic belt are the main force to promote the high-quality development of the Yangtze River economic belt and to build a modern economic system. Among them, the GDP Trillion City Club is the leader of this force. This paper evaluates the industrial development of the GDP Trillion City Club along the Yangtze River Economic Belt from three aspects, the overall characteristics of industrial development, structural status and competitiveness level. The results show several conclusions. The economic level of the GDP Trillion City Club along the Yangtze River Economic Belt is in the forefront of the whole country, and the cities in the middle and upper reaches of the Yangtze River are developing rapidly. The industrial structure difference is obvious, and the transformation speed is slow. The advantages of industrial specialization are not significant, and the regional characteristics are distinct. The technological progress and industrial scale hinder the promotion of industrial efficiency. Therefore,we should adhere to the overall promotion and key breakthroughs in coordination, focusing on the middle and upper reaches to promote the high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, accelerate the elimination of old kinetic energy and cultivate new kinetic energy and take the servitization of industrial structure as grasping hand to promote the construction modernization of modern economic system, strengthen self-development and coordinating development to improve the level of industrial specialization and create an organic and efficient economic zone, give full play to the decisive role of the market allocation and rely on innovation and agglomeration to achieve efficiency change.
