When studying the development level of the Cultural Industry in Yangtze River Economic Belt from the aspects of Cultural Industry development planning，general overview，agglomeration level and efficiency level，the research results show that the Cultural Industry development in the Yangtze River Economic Belt has comparative advantages in China，but the inter-provincial differences are significant. The downstream provinces have obvious advantages in terms of industry scale，agglomeration level and efficiency level. Cultural Industry agglomeration level differences significantly in different industries. The downstream provinces have comparative advantages in industries such as radio and television movies，culture and art，cultural creativity and design. while the middle and upper reaches of the province have comparative advantages in the fields of news publishing，cultural heritage protection，culture entertainment and leisure. The Cultural Industry has low efficiency of which the main abstract is the lack of pure technical efficiency，followed by the lack of scale efficiency. The Cultural Industry structure of the 11 provinces along the Yangtze River Economic Belt needs to be adjusted，and the proportion of the cultural service industry needs to be improved.
