This report focuses on the analysis of the comprehensive competitiveness of hospitals in North China（Beijing，Tianjin，Hebei，Shanxi，Inner Mongolia），through the seven rankings，which include four horizontal（top hospitals，provincial capitals/planned municipal hospitals，prefecture-level city hospitals，county-level hospitals）and three vertical（non-public hospitals，Chinese medicine hospitals，cancer hospitals），study the distribution of medical resources in the region. In terms of regional competitiveness，North China ranked fourth in the seven regions；among them，Beijing has the most abundant quality medical resources，and the number of hospitals ranked in the top list is the largest. The distribution of county-level hospitals in Hebei，Shanxi，and Inner Mongolia still needs to be improved. In the province-level list of prefecture-level cities，the province’s high-quality medical resources are mainly concentrated in provincial capital cities.
