This report focuses on the comprehensive competitiveness of hospitals in Northeast China（Heilongjiang，Jilin，Liaoning），through the seven rankings，which include four horizontal（top hospitals，provincial capitals/planned municipal hospitals，prefecture-level city hospitals，county-level hospitals）and three vertical（non-public hospitals，Chinese medicine hospitals，cancer hospitals），study the distribution of medical resources in the provinces of Northeast China. From the perspective of regional competitiveness，the northeast region ranks fifth in the seven regions；from the perspective of provincial competitiveness，Liaoning Province is the strongest in the northeast region. The competitiveness of non-public hospitals in the Northeast has increased. Most of the province’s quality medical resources are concentrated in provincial capital cities.
