Deepening the reform of the state supervision system is a major political system reform that has a bearing on the overall situation. The goal is to build a centralized，unified，authoritative and efficient national surveillance system with Chinese characteristics to achieve full coverage of all public officials.The first meeting of the 13th National People's Congress in 2018，voted on the draft constitutional amendment，one of its important contents is the establishment of the National Supervision Commission.On the basis of the adoption of the constitutional amendment，the Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China（referred to as the “Supervision Law”）was voted at the meeting of the National People's Congress. As a national anti-corruption legislation，the adoption of the national Supervision Law means that the results of the state supervision system reform have further solidified into a legal system，which is an important milestone in the legalization of anti-corruption work. It is inseparable to study the basic theory of supervision law by exploring and constructing an authoritative and efficient institutional mechanism and truly transforming institutional advantages into governance effectiveness. The concept of “supervisory jurisprudence” is not only an important part of the theory and practice of anti-corruption theory with Chinese characteristics，but also an important carrier for the basic theoretical research of supervision.
