High technology industry is an important force to promote social production and profound changes on way of life.The development of high-tech industry leads to sustained，rapid growth of economy.It is also a substantial indicator to measure the economic competitiveness and technological strength of a nation or an area.First，this paper defines high-tech industry and elaborates its characteristics.According to recent statistics，this paper analyzes the overall situation and the main areas of the high-tech industry in Heilongjiang Province.What’s more，the paper discusses the current situation of two National Hi-Tech Development Zone and high-tech enterprises in Heilongjiang Province.Finally，the paper analyzes the characteristics of high-tech industry in Heilongjiang Province，and gives some recommendations on how to promote its development.
