教育社会学旨在研究如何通过教育维护社会的正常运转,在社会分层理论中,教育充当了减小阶层差异的作用。然而越来越多的研究发现,家庭背景通过对子女教育获得产生影响进而维持社会阶层的不平等而不是减小阶级差异。在家庭背景与教育获得研究主题已然十分成熟的情况下,本文运用文化资本、社会资本、经济资本、资源稀释及汇集理论、家庭结构理论等社会学理论作为主线对当前的研究进行梳理。在对国内外各研究成果进行分析和总结的基础上,本文提出当前研究中父母的社会经济地位在子女教育获得中的研究,家庭背景对子女上大学及教育获得的影响,以及不同社会阶层在子女教育选择上的心理差异等。
<<The main purpose of education is to keep the world right order. Education plays a role to minus the difference between classes in the theory of social stratification. More and more research found that family background aims to maintain class inequality through children’s education attainment. On the basis of plenty of research achievement,this review tries to apply sociological theories,such as cultural capital,social capital,economic capital,the resource dilution,the confluence theory,family structure to comb existing research achievement. At last,this review concludes some under-researched area,such as lacking of mother SES,how family background affects education attainment after enrolling in secondary education,how people from different SES families choose education production.
